Nazi soldiers abduct four Palestinians near Nablus

Israeli soldiers seized four Palestinians in the early morning hours of Tuesday near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, residents said.

The young men were reportedly taken from Aseereh and Beit Ommarein, near Nablus.

Local sources told Ma’an that a number of Israeli patrols invaded the two villages, where they “entered a number of houses and searched them thoroughly.”

Soldiers dragged the following residents from their homes before taking them to an undisclosed location: Saber Fawzy Samara, 26, Jameel Sayel Samara, 43, from Beit Ommarien village and brothers Tayseer and Khaled Abd Allah Sawalmeh, from the northern Assereh village near Nablus.

Neither the soldiers nor the Israeli military immediately announced any pretext for detaining the men, nor if they were accused or suspected of having committed any crime.

The operation was the first since a few hours earlier, when Israeli forces abducted 12 Palestinians from their homes near Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah. They were detained on “security” grounds, the army said. Maan
