U.S. army chief meets Turkish PM in Istanbul
'Either you are with us or we'll bomb you to stone age"
Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen met Sunday Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Istanbul. (UPDATED)
The closed-doors meeting lasted about more than an hour and was attended also by Deputy Chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Egemen Bagis, and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, Ross Wilson.
No statement has been released after the meeting.
Mullen will proceed Monday to the Turkish capital of Ankara to hold talks with President Abdullah Gul and Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug. Hurriyet
