'We have the might to attack Iran'

Israel's prime minister Ehud Olmert claims the Zionist regime has the necessary 'might and power' to counter any threat from Iran.

In a Tuesday statement, Olmert said Israel 'considers itself menaced by Iran ', and the Islamic Republic's refusal to stop uranium enrichment will leave the Zionist regime no choice but to use military force against Tehran.

"Israel certainly considers itself threatened by Iran. Israel possesses the might and the power to defend itself against any threat," said Olmert.

Israel and its allies accuse Iran of pursuing nuclear weaponry and have on numerous occasions advocated aggression toward the country.

The Zionist regime is not a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and reportedly possesses the Middle East's largest nuclear arsenal. Press TV
