Bush: Iraq is returning to normal:

Rockets and mortars hammer Green Zone

Baghdad's Green zone is coming under more rocket and mortar fire today, and the U.S. Embassy says one American government employee has been killed.

And the State Department is instructing all personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad not to leave reinforced structures due to the incoming insurgent fire. It's now killed two American government workers this week.

It's the latest in a week of barrages against heavily fortified area in central Baghdad. They come amid escalating tensions between Mahdi Army fighters loyal to Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and Iraqi security forces. The U.S. military blames breakaway factions of al-Sadr's movement for the attacks. Al-Sadr now says he wants a "political solution" to the crisis.
