'We'll solve issue of terror, Kassams'

A day after a suicide bomber detonated an explosives belt in Dimona, killing 73-year-old Lyobov Razdolskya and critically wounding her husband, Defense Minister Ehud Barak promised that the IDF would provide solutions to terrorism and return a sense of security to the south.

"Today Kassam rockets were once again fired at Sderot, and yesterday there was a terror attack in Dimona," Barak told cadets at an officers course in Shizafon Base in the south. "We will provide the solutions, just as in the past your parents came up with solutions when they were fighting in the Jordan Valley."

On Monday, Reuters had reported that Hamas's armed wing, Izaddin Kassam, claimed responsibility for the suicide attack, saying that the bombers came from Hebron and not the Gaza Strip.

"We will now provide solutions to terror from Hebron and to Kassams from Gaza," the defense minister said. More
