IOF troops kidnap 20 Palestinians
IOF troops at dawn Thursday kidnapped 20 Palestinians in various West Bank cities and villages including the commander of the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, in Jenin, the Hebrew radio reported.
It said that IOF troops rounded up the "wanted" Palestinians in Tulkarm, Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jericho. The broadcast claimed that three pistols were found in the possession of one of the arrested Palestinians in Tulkarm.
In Jenin, a special IOF unit kidnapped Samer Al-Saadi, 23, who is described as a Quds Brigades commander, after infiltrating into the city's refugee camp in plain clothes mounting a Mercedes with Palestinian plates.
Meanwhile, two Palestinian students were wounded in Kober village, north of Ramallah, during an IOF landing operation on Wednesday.
Villagers said that students threw stones at the IOF paratroopers, who responded by opening fire at the students and wounding two of them Younis Hosni, 17, whose condition is described as serious, and Baraa Abdul Jalil, 15, who was hit in his foot.
The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, said that a group of its fighters survived an Israeli assassination attempt east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
