Palestinian child dies as result of Israeli imposed sanctions

A nine-year old Palestinian boy died in Gaza city after Israeli military has rejected calls for him to travel for treatment, Palestinian hospital sources said on Monday.

The Palestinian sources told KUNA, Amir Al-Yaziji, died in hospital after days of being diagnosed of a brain-seizure caused by an unknown illness in his brain.

The Israel-imposed sanctions on passageways in Gaza have further complicated matters on the boy to seek medical attention of his case.

In addition to the demise of Al-Yaziji, 13 Palestinians died this month in hospital as Israel has imposed a travel ban for anyone seeking medical attention.

The number of patients who have died in hospital in Gaza may increase. (end) zt. More...
